HOLLAND, MI – In January, The Holland Sentinel released its annual “Best of West Michigan” special edition issue, announcing the winners of the 2015 ballot. Readers of the newspaper in the Holland area community cast their votes for businesses in nine categories, and Randy’s Carpet Care won for Carpet Cleaning in the category “Best of Services.” This is the 13th consecutive occasion that the company has been honored with this distinction.
Randy’s has expressed its gratitude to the community by reaching out to area churches, charitable businesses, and private loyal customers with offers of discounted and even free carpet cleanings. “Our community has offered us so many blessings,” says Marketing Director Jeremy Strickland. “It is both our pleasure and our responsibility to give back.”
About Randy’s Carpet Care:
Owner Randy Dubbink opened his eponymous business in West Michigan in 1980 after working as a mechanic for many years, sometimes repairing vans and equipment for a carpet cleaning company. “The carpet cleaners convinced me to buy a van,” says Randy of his humble origin. “At first, it was just me. I worked seventy or eighty hours a week if I could. Saturdays… Sundays… I worked really hard to build our reputation.” Randy’s dedication payed off. Over the years, the business grew exponentially, requiring Randy to acquire the current spaces on Coolidge Ave in Holland to provide enough room for the ever expanding office and field staff as well as his fleet of vans.
The signature white vans with stark blue lettering proclaiming “May our efforts be pleasing unto God as well as to Man” can be spotted on West Michigan roads as they service customers in Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Saugatuck, Hamilton, South Haven; wherever carpets are dirty in West Michigan. In addition to carpet and upholstery cleaning, Randy’s Carpet Care also offers flood water clean-ups, mold remediation, and restoration.

PS: It’s nice to be appreciated for what you do. In January, our local newspaper, the Holland Sentinel, published the results of its annual poll of its readers to determine the people’s choice for “Best In West Michigan.” We won in our category for the thirteenth year in a row. Then, this morning (March 4, 2016), we discovered this on the interwebs…
Thanks to the Holland Sentinel, its readers, and our loyal customers for the opportunity to serve West Michigan!
